The client is a leading Global IT Managed Service Provider who enable digital transformation and hyperconnected businesses, and specialise in Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Securing and Hybrid IT / Cloud Solutions.
The client had won a major contract with a UK Central Government organisation to build a new global WAN and LAN, and migrate services from the incumbent supplier. The contract provides global connectivity services underpinning Central Government operations both in the UK and overseas, replacing the legacy infrastructure with a modern, agile and robust network service designed to improve service levels and align to the new ways of working demanded by the global service users.
Athena Commercial were engaged to mobilise the contract following contract signature, and support the client delivery team in defining and developing commercial policy, process and tools to enable the delivery of Value for Money services to the Customer. Furthermore, AC led critical supplier negotiations relating to Break Fix Support, implementing a revised contract model resulting in £Xm savings for the client and the end customer.
