Framework Description
APUC's Floor Coverings framework covers the supply and fitting of flooring for universities, colleges and other users across Scotland. It has 14 lots: national supply lots for carpet tiles and resilient flooring, six regional lots for fitting, repair and refurbishment, and six regional one-stop-shop lots combining supply and fitting. It ends on 4 November 2026 with no extension, so it has only weeks left.
Context & Use Case
Estates teams use it for refurbishments, residence upgrades and replacing worn flooring in teaching and office spaces. Buyers can buy materials nationally and use a local fitter, or use a one-stop-shop supplier for their region. The regional lots run from the North Highlands and Islands to the South West, covering Greater Glasgow, Argyll, Renfrewshire and Ayrshire.

Suits flooring manufacturers and distributors for the national lots, and flooring contractors for the regional fitting and one-stop-shop lots. Applications for this framework are closed and it ends on 4 November 2026, so no new suppliers can join. The next chance would be any replacement framework APUC advertises.
