Coming soon

Framework Description

Bristol City Council's Roofing Framework for Domestic Properties covers roofing works on council homes (Find a Tender notice 035103-2026). It has two lots: Lot 1 for planned replacement of pitched roof coverings, and Lot 2 for call-off flat and pitched roofing projects. The tender closed on 29 May 2026 and the award is pending. The framework is expected to run to 2 August 2030, with an option to extend by 12 months to 2 August 2031.

Context & Use Case

Bristol's housing landlord service will use Lot 1 to run a planned programme of pitched roof replacements on homes up to four storeys, across north and south areas, priced from Schedules of Rates. Lot 2 is for mini-tendered call-offs on flat and mixed roofing, including larger multi-unit blocks, where each project needs its own pricing and approach.

Scope of Services

Lot 1: Replacement Pitched, planned programme via Schedules of Rates Lot 2: Call-off Flat and Pitched, via mini-tenders Residential properties up to four storeys (Lot 1) Multi-unit developments (Lot 2)

Lots

Lot 1 - Replacement Pitched; Lot 2 - Call off Flat & Pitched

Who Can Apply

Suits roofing contractors working on occupied social housing. The tender closed on 29 May 2026, so new contractors cannot join this framework now. The next opportunity will be the re-tender, expected around 2 August 2030 or 2 August 2031 if extended.

Buyer Benefits

Schedules of Rates on Lot 1 give the Council predictable costs on high-volume pitched roof work, while mini-tenders on Lot 2 keep competition for bespoke projects. Buyers value contractors who work safely on occupied homes, communicate well with tenants, provide roofing warranties and deliver programmes on time.
