CHIC Kitchens Supply Framework
Framework Description
CHIC's Kitchens Supply framework gives housing members access to national kitchen manufacturers. Lot 1 is supply only, covering pre-assembled or flatpack units. Lot 2 is supply and fit. It was awarded on 24 November 2023 and runs until 23 November 2027, with no extension. CHIC is also procuring a separate Kitchen Materials Framework for 2026-30.
Context & Use Case
Housing associations and council landlords use it to buy kitchens in volume for component replacement programmes. They can either feed units to their own repairs teams and contractors, or have the manufacturer fit them. Buying direct from manufacturers gives members consistent ranges across their stock. Members can award directly or run a mini-competition.

Who Can Apply
National kitchen manufacturers able to supply social landlords at volume, with or without installation teams. Applications for this framework are closed. The tender for CHIC's follow-on Kitchen Materials Framework 2026-30 closed on 6 October 2026, so manufacturers that did not bid should prepare for later CHIC kitchen procurements or target landlords directly.

Members get manufacturer pricing on standard ranges without running a supply tender. Agreed specifications make replacement and repair simpler across a portfolio. Choosing between supply only and supply and fit lets each landlord match the arrangement to its own workforce and contractors.
Next Steps
Appointed manufacturers should keep members supplied to the end of the term on 23 November 2027 and record delivery and quality data for future bids.
