Framework Description

Crescent Purchasing Consortium's Security Systems framework (tender reference CPC/MW/01/2022) covers the supply, installation, consultancy and maintenance of CCTV, access control, intruder alarms and car park barriers. It re-tendered CPC's earlier access control and CCTV agreements and added alarms and barriers. It started on 20 December 2022 and ends on 19 December 2026, with no extension.

Context & Use Case

Education and other CPC members use it for new systems, upgrade works, maintenance packages, reactive repairs, disposal of legacy equipment, and training and handover. They can direct award where the terms cover the requirement, or run a further competition among capable suppliers in the lot. Call-offs can continue after the framework expires, but should not run longer than the framework's total duration.

Scope of Services

Lot 1: CCTV supply, installation and maintenance Lot 2: car park barrier supply, installation and maintenance Lot 3: intruder alarm systems supply, installation and maintenance Lot 4: entrance and access control supply, installation and maintenance Lot 5: entrance and access control consumables

Lots

Lot 1 CCTV Supply, Installation and Maintenance; Lot 2 Car Park Barrier Supply, Installation and Maintenance; Lot 3 Intruder Alarm Systems Supply, Installation and Maintenance; Lot 4 Entrance and Access Control Supply, Installation and Maintenance; Lot 5 Entrance and Access Control Consumables

Who Can Apply

Suits security systems installers, maintainers and consumables suppliers working with education and public sector sites. Applications for this framework are closed, so suppliers not already appointed cannot join it. With the term ending on 19 December 2026, the next way in is any replacement CPC tenders.

Buyer Benefits

Members save running a full tender and get a compliant route with several competing suppliers in each lot. In a further competition they can write their own requirements and change the award criteria weightings. Covering CCTV, access control, alarms and barriers in one agreement suits sites with many entrances that want systems to work together.

Next Steps

Appointed suppliers should agree any call-offs before 19 December 2026, as contracts awarded in time can continue after expiry. Others should check CPC's framework pages and news for a replacement arrangement, and prepare installer accreditations, data protection policies for CCTV, maintenance service levels and education site references so they are ready when it is tendered.
