Apprenticeship Training Dynamic Marketplace

Live

Framework Description

RM6102 Apprenticeship Training Dynamic Marketplace is a dynamic purchasing system run by the Government Commercial Agency (GCA, formerly Crown Commercial Service). It gives public sector bodies access to apprenticeship training that follows Department for Education funding rules, while letting buyers choose which provider they contract with. It is a single-lot DPS available until 27 October 2028, and providers can apply to join while it runs.

Context & Use Case

Central government departments, councils, NHS bodies and other public employers use it to buy apprenticeship training for their workforce, often funded from their apprenticeship levy. Buyers run competitions among admitted providers for specific standards or cohorts, from business administration and digital to engineering and leadership programmes. Admission is open throughout, so the provider pool keeps growing.

Who Can Apply

Suits apprenticeship training providers and colleges, including specialist providers of a single standard. As a live DPS, it accepts new suppliers during its term, so providers can apply to join now.

Buyer Benefits

Public employers must spend their levy well and meet apprenticeship targets. They value providers with strong achievement rates, flexible delivery around shift patterns, and a quick, compliant route to award that respects DfE funding rules. A growing pool also gives them specialist choice.

Next Steps

Read the RM6102 page on the GCA website and apply to join by the route it sets out for suppliers. Have your DfE provider registration, Ofsted outcomes, achievement rates and standards list ready. Once admitted, track competitions from departments, councils and NHS bodies, and plan around the 27 October 2028 end date.

How Athena Can Help

Athena's framework and DPS registrations team can handle your RM6102 application, from selection questions to the compliance check, so you are admitted without delays.

Once you are on, public employers will compare providers on achievement, delivery model and social value. Our help writing training bids builds competition responses around those criteria, and our public sector tender advice helps you price cohorts so they win and still make money. We also compliance-check each response before submission.
