Framework Description
RM6088 Construction Works and Associated Services is a Government Commercial Agency (GCA, formerly Crown Commercial Service) framework for building and civil engineering works. It is a fixed framework, not a DPS, with 11 lots ranging from regional building works to national lots for £80m-plus projects, maritime, airfields, demolition and construction management. All lots expire on 31 March 2027, with no extension. This framework is used by Crown Commercial and APUC.
Context & Use Case
Central government departments, arm's-length bodies and the wider public sector use it for construction projects from small refurbishments to major schemes. Most lots have regional sub-lots, so buyers can compete work among contractors in the right area and value band. The successor, RM6320 Construction Works and Associated Services 3 including ProCure 24, is planned for early 2027.

Who Can Apply
Suits building and civil engineering contractors of all sizes, including SMEs in the regional lots. Applications for RM6088 are closed and it ends on 31 March 2027, so new contractors cannot join it. The route in is the successor, RM6320.
Buyer Benefits
Public clients want contractors already checked on capability, safety and financial standing, matched to project size and region. They value standard government terms, a choice of procurement routes and payment mechanisms, and a quicker start on site than a full open tender allows.
Next Steps
Appointed contractors should bid for schemes that buyers must award before 31 March 2027. All contractors should follow RM6320 CWAS3 / ProCure 24 on the GCA website, check its timetable and lot structure, and prepare case studies, social value plans and carbon reduction evidence for it.
