Framework Description
RM6200 Artificial Intelligence is a dynamic purchasing system run by the Government Commercial Agency (GCA, formerly Crown Commercial Service). It covers AI discovery and consultancy, implementation and support of AI systems, end-to-end AI partnerships and AI technologies. Let under PCR 2015, it has been extended to 23 February 2029, the latest date a PCR 2015 DPS can operate, so no further extension is possible.
Context & Use Case
Central government departments and wider public sector bodies use it to test and buy AI, from feasibility studies and proofs of concept to licensed AI products and long-term delivery partners. Buyers run competitions among admitted suppliers, which lets them reach specialist AI firms, including SMEs, without running a full open tender.
