Facilities Management and Workplace Services DPS

Live

Framework Description

Facilities Management and Workplace Services DPS (RM6264) is a dynamic purchasing system from the Government Commercial Agency (GCA, formerly Crown Commercial Service). It was set up alongside the RM6232 framework to give buyers a flexible FM route, filtered by service, building type, location and contract value. Let under PCR 2015, it has already been extended to 23 February 2029, the latest date a PCR 2015 DPS can operate, so no further extension is possible.

Context & Use Case

Central government, wider public sector and third sector organisations use RM6264 for facilities services of every size and complexity, from a single-site cleaning contract to specialist defence accommodation services. Direct award is not available: buyers filter the supplier list and run a competition among those who match. Order contracts can last up to 120 months including extensions, so a single win can provide long-term revenue.

Scope of Services

Catering, cleaning and waste services Maintenance and statutory compliance services Security, helpdesk and visitor support services Landscaping and miscellaneous FM services Smart FM solutions, including CAFM Specialist defence FM and end user accommodation services

Who Can Apply

Facilities management providers of any size, including local SMEs and specialist single-service contractors, can apply to join RM6264 at any point until it closes on 23 February 2029. Applying involves registering as a supplier and meeting the requirements set out in the RM6264 DPS needs document in the bid pack.

Buyer Benefits

Buyers can weigh quality and price against their own priorities instead of a fixed framework formula, and build social value and net zero aims into each competition. The automated filter matches buyers to suppliers covering their exact service, building and location, which suits regional and specialist requirements that large frameworks serve poorly.

Next Steps

Register on the GCA DPS marketplace, download the RM6264 bid pack from the agreement page (https://www.gca.gov.uk/agreements/RM6264) and complete the application. Choose your service, location and building-type filters carefully, as they decide which competitions you are invited to. Joining sooner gives you more time to win contracts before the DPS closes in February 2029.

How Athena Can Help

Because RM6264 is open to new suppliers, Athena can get you on it now. Our DPS application service sets your service and location filters to match the work you want, completes the application and checks it for compliance before you submit.

After that, competitions arrive without a direct award shortcut, so each one needs a strong, priced response. Our bid writing for FM competitions and bid/no-bid support help you pick the contracts worth chasing and win them.
