Framework Description
Housing Maintenance and Repair (RM6241) is a dynamic purchasing system run by the Government Commercial Agency (GCA, formerly Crown Commercial Service) for maintenance, repair and compliance work on housing. It is a single-lot DPS let under PCR 2015 and has already been extended to 23 February 2029, the latest date such a DPS can run. Central government and wider public sector bodies can use it, and suppliers can join while it remains open.

Housing providers and public bodies use RM6241 for planned maintenance, responsive repairs and compliance on tenanted and empty homes. Buyers filter suppliers by service, location, building type and total contract value, then run a competition among those who match. Suppliers identified during a landlord's section 20 leaseholder consultation can onboard at any time, which helps buyers keep preferred local contractors.
