Logistics, Warehousing and Supply Chain Solutions

Live

Framework Description

Logistics, Warehousing and Supply Chain Solutions (RM6329) is a framework, closed to new applications, from the Government Commercial Agency (GCA, formerly Crown Commercial Service) for central government and the wider public sector. It covers collection, receipt, warehousing, storage, processing and onward distribution of goods, plus removals and events logistics. The four-year agreement has eight lots and runs until 28 October 2028.

Context & Use Case

Public bodies use RM6329 for routine storage and haulage as well as fulfilment, large logistics moves, office relocations and event logistics. A department relocating headquarters might use lot 5, while a programme distributing equipment nationally could use lot 4 for managed logistics. Call-off contracts can run past the framework end date where the requirement is complex.

Scope of Services

Lot 1: Haulage and distribution Lot 2: Warehousing and storage, including fulfilment Lot 3: Logistics consultancy, supply chain and design Lot 4: Third, fourth and fifth party logistics (3PL, 4PL, 5PL) Lot 5: Removals and relocation Lot 6: Vehicle and plant movement, storage and detention Lot 7: Events, shows and exhibition logistics Lot 8: Construction logistics

Lots

Lot 1: Haulage and Distribution Services; Lot 2: Warehousing and Storage Solutions; Lot 3: Logistics Consultancy, Supply Chain and Design Solutions; Lot 4: 3rd Party, 4th Party and 5th Party Logistics Solutions; Lot 5: Removals and Relocation Solutions; Lot 6: Vehicle and Plant Movement, Storage and Detention Solutions; Lot 7: Events, Shows and Exhibition Logistics Solutions; Lot 8: Construction Logistics and Associated Solutions

Who Can Apply

Membership of RM6329 is fixed for its term, so hauliers, warehouse operators, removals firms and logistics consultancies not already appointed must wait for re-procurement around October 2028. Specialists in vehicle detention, events or construction logistics should note that dedicated lots exist for those services.

Buyer Benefits

Buyers can set out their own requirements within each lot's scope, from basic storage to managed 3PL, 4PL and 5PL solutions. Dedicated lots for removals, events, vehicle detention and construction logistics mean specialist needs are covered, and call-off contracts that can run past the framework term suit multi-year storage or managed logistics.

Next Steps

Appointed suppliers should respond to call-offs in their lots with clear mobilisation and service continuity plans. Others should follow the GCA page (https://www.gca.gov.uk/agreements/RM6329) and expect successor market engagement in 2027 or 2028, before the 28 October 2028 end date. How Athena Can Help

Athena helps logistics suppliers on RM6329 win call-offs. Our logistics bid writers build responses on mobilisation, service continuity and carbon reduction, and model rates that win while protecting margin.

For firms outside the framework, our forward plan of framework openings sets out which lot to target in the re-procurement and what evidence to gather. We can also help on public sector logistics tenders outside frameworks, from bid/no-bid decisions to final pricing.
