Framework Description
Research & Insights (RM6126) is a dynamic purchasing system from the Government Commercial Agency (GCA, formerly Crown Commercial Service) for research and insight services. It gives public sector organisations a route to suppliers that help inform policy, services and communications. Let under PCR 2015, it has already been extended to 23 February 2029, the latest date a PCR 2015 DPS can operate, and it stays open to new suppliers until then.
Context & Use Case
Central government and other public sector bodies use RM6126 to commission market research, customer insight, data analysis and benchmarking, for example to test a campaign, understand service users or measure performance against peers. Buyers run competitions among DPS suppliers for each project, so research agencies compete project by project rather than for one large contract.

Who Can Apply
RM6126 is open to new suppliers until 23 February 2029. It suits market research agencies, data analytics firms, insight consultancies and specialist research providers, including smaller agencies with a sector or method specialism, provided they meet the entry criteria.
Buyer Benefits
Buyers can commission research quickly from a pool of pre-vetted agencies, without a full tender for each project. Because suppliers can join at any time, buyers see new and specialist agencies as well as established ones, which helps for niche audiences or methods.
Next Steps
Apply through the GCA agreement page (https://www.gca.gov.uk/agreements/RM6126), selecting the research types you can evidence. Prepare public sector case studies, quality accreditations and data protection evidence. With the DPS closing on 23 February 2029 and no further extension, joining soon gives you more competitions.
