Framework Description
Tail Spend Solution (RM6202) is a single-lot framework from the Government Commercial Agency (GCA, formerly Crown Commercial Service) that gives buyers fast access to low-complexity products through a digital buying platform. It has been extended to 25 January 2027, after which RM6369 The Marketplace takes over. Products from RM6157 Building Materials and Equipment were moved onto this agreement.
Context & Use Case
Public sector organisations use RM6202 to manage unaddressed and ad hoc spend, such as office accessories or small electrical items, through direct award on the platform. Buyers can ask for extra suppliers, categories or products to be added. Existing call-offs can continue after the framework ends, but new buying will move to RM6369 The Marketplace.

Who Can Apply
Applications for RM6202 are closed and it is being replaced by RM6369 The Marketplace. Suppliers of everyday goods reach these buyers through the marketplace platforms run by the appointed suppliers, rather than by joining the framework.
Buyer Benefits
The agreement is free for buyers and offers fast direct award with prices checked through basket testing. Social value features let buyers filter by vendor location, diversity status and sustainable products, which helps them direct small spend to local and diverse suppliers.
Next Steps
Look at RM6369 The Marketplace on the GCA website, as it takes over from 25 January 2027. Contact the platform operators appointed to RM6369 about listing your products, and make sure your social value credentials, such as location and diversity status, are recorded so buyers can filter for you.
