Framework Description
Dundee City Council's Domestic Removals, Storage and Disposal Framework is a single-lot agreement for moving, storing and disposing of household goods. Angus Council, Perth & Kinross Council and Tayside Contracts are also named on the procurement. It runs to 15 June 2028, with two 12-month extension options to 15 June 2030. The tender closed on 16 June 2026.
Context & Use Case
The council uses the framework when it needs to move or store household belongings, for example during housing transfers, decants, changes in supported accommodation or when clearing a property. Removals for vulnerable tenants need care, security and good communication. Disposal and recycling of unwanted items is included, so one supplier can handle a whole move.
