Statutory Audit and Multi-Specialty Services and Advisory Consultancy Services

Live

Framework Description

The East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub's Statutory Audit and Multi-Specialty Services and Advisory Consultancy Services framework covers external and internal audit, counter fraud, assurance reviews, digital and IM&T audit, security management and combined audit services for NHS bodies. It has seven lots and is designed to meet current and future legal and NHS good practice requirements. It runs to 28 January 2027, with an option to extend by 12 months.

Context & Use Case

NHS trusts, ICBs and other members use the framework to appoint external auditors, buy internal audit and counter fraud services, and commission assurance or digital audits. A multi-audit lot lets a buyer bundle internal audit, counter fraud, assurance, digital audit and security management with one provider, reducing the number of contracts a finance or governance team has to manage.

Scope of Services

Lot 1: Statutory audit and external audit Lot 2: Counter fraud services Lot 3: Internal audit Lot 4: Assurance reviews Lot 5: Digital and IM&T audit Lot 6: Security management Lot 7: Multi audit service provision (Lots 2–6 combined)

Lots

Lot 1: Statutory Audit/External Audit; Lot 2: Counter Fraud Services; Lot 3: Internal Audit; Lot 4: Assurance Reviews; Lot 5: Digital and IM&T Audit; Lot 6: Security Management; Lot 7: Multi Audit Service Provision

Who Can Apply

Suits audit firms, NHS internal audit and counter fraud providers, cyber and IT audit specialists and security management consultancies. Applications for this framework are closed until it is re-tendered, which is likely around 28 January 2027 or, if extended, 28 January 2028.

Buyer Benefits

External audit appointments and counter fraud services are statutory requirements, so NHS bodies need a reliable, compliant way to buy them. Lots by specialism and a combined lot let them choose specialist providers or a single provider for all assurance work.

Next Steps

The initial term ends on 28 January 2027, so check the hub's framework page at eoecph.nhs.uk for the extension decision or re-tender. Prepare evidence of NHS audit and counter fraud work, professional registrations such as audit firm registration and accredited counter fraud specialists, and quality review results.
