Framework Description
Embark Multi-Academy Trust's Estates Works and Capital DPS is a dynamic market for building maintenance, refurbishment, M&E, grounds and capital projects across the UK. Suppliers join by trade category and can apply for specific elements within a category. Several academy trusts are committed early adopters, and other eligible contracting authorities can also use it. It is open to new suppliers until 9 March 2031.
Context & Use Case
Academy trusts and schools use it to buy estates work, from routine repairs and compliance servicing to larger capital improvement projects. Because suppliers are grouped by trade, trusts can run competitions among firms qualified for exactly the work required, whether that is roofing on one school or a heating replacement across a trust. Contracts are awarded through competitions among qualified suppliers.

Who Can Apply
Suits construction trades, M&E contractors, maintenance providers and FM firms of any size. As a live dynamic market, it is open to new applicants now. You can apply for one or several categories, and you do not need to cover every element in a category to qualify.
Buyer Benefits
Trusts get a flexible pool of pre-qualified trades for both day-to-day estates work and capital projects, and the pool keeps growing as suppliers join. They value contractors who understand working on live school sites, safeguarding and term-time scheduling, and who can finish summer holiday projects on time.
