Framework Description
Building Supplies (reference 12_23) is an ESPO framework for building materials and related products, running from 21 July 2023 to 20 July 2027 with no extension. It has eight lots, from a one-stop-shop builders' merchant offer to specialist lots for plumbing and bathrooms, kitchens, electrical, paint, fencing and small plant. Procured under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, it is closed to new applications.
Context & Use Case
Councils, housing providers and maintenance teams use the framework to supply repairs and refurbishment work, ordering materials, kitchens, bathrooms and fencing without their own tender. Decorating cards are also available through the framework. Buyers choose between a direct award and further competition depending on the value and complexity of the requirement.

Who Can Apply
Suits builders' merchants, kitchen and bathroom suppliers, electrical wholesalers, paint manufacturers and fencing suppliers. Applications for this framework are closed, and it ends on 20 July 2027 with no extension, so suppliers not appointed cannot join it and should prepare for ESPO's replacement framework.
