Grounds Maintenance Machinery (2026)

Coming soon

Framework Description

Grounds Maintenance Machinery (2026) is an upcoming ESPO framework (reference 274_26) to help public sector customers buy a range of grounds maintenance machinery. ESPO lists it as Coming soon, with the new framework due in 2026. It is a framework rather than a dynamic market, so suppliers will need to bid during the tender to win a place.

Context & Use Case

Councils, schools, academies, parks services and sports facilities buy mowers and other grounds machinery to maintain playing fields, parks and green spaces. Once it is live, the framework will let them buy without running their own tender. ESPO is inviting interested customers to contact its team at place@espo.org for more information ahead of launch.

Scope of Services

A range of grounds maintenance machinery Machinery for maintaining grounds and parks Machinery for sports facilities

Who Can Apply

Suits grounds machinery manufacturers, dealers and distributors with service networks. As the framework is Coming soon, there is nothing to join yet; suppliers should prepare to bid when ESPO publishes the 274_26 tender.

Buyer Benefits

Once live, buyers will get approved machinery suppliers without a tender of their own, useful for seasonal replacements and fleet upgrades. Buyers are likely to value reliable machines, dealer servicing, parts availability and lower-emission options such as battery equipment. A national framework also helps smaller buyers get good prices.

Next Steps

Watch Find a Tender and ESPO's tender portal for the 274_26 notice. Prepare product ranges, dealer and service coverage, warranty terms and evidence of supplying councils or schools. Decide early whether you will bid alone or through a dealer network.
