Lubricating Oils, Greases and Anti-Freeze 106_27

Coming soon

Framework Description

Lubricating Oils, Greases and Anti-Freeze (reference 106_27) is ESPO's upcoming successor framework to 106_23, being procured under the Procurement Act 2023. ESPO lists it as Coming soon and says it is due to go live in January 2027. It will cover lubricating oils, greases and anti-freeze for public sector fleets, and suppliers will need to win a place through the tender.

Context & Use Case

Public sector fleet operators, including councils with refuse, highways and grounds vehicles, will use it to buy oils, greases and anti-freeze without their own tender. It replaces 106_23, which ends on 31 January 2027. ESPO describes 106_27 as at an early stage of development, with tender documents not yet published, and invites interested parties to contact place@espo.org.

Who Can Apply

Suits lubricant manufacturers and distributors serving public sector fleets. As the framework is Coming soon, no supplier can join yet; suppliers should prepare to bid when ESPO publishes the 106_27 tender.

Buyer Benefits

Fleet workshops will get approved suppliers and agreed pricing for routine consumables, with no gap in supply when 106_23 ends. A framework route saves each fleet from running its own tender for frequent, low-value orders. Buyers value product quality, OEM approvals, delivery reliability and stable pricing.
