Security and Surveillance Equipment & Services

Live

Framework Description

ESPO's Security and Surveillance Equipment & Services framework (reference 628_23) covers public and private space CCTV, access control, intruder detection, integrated security systems, independent security consultancy, body worn video and ANPR cameras. It has eight lots, was procured under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and is not a DPS. It runs from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2027, with no extension option.

Context & Use Case

Local authorities, schools, NHS bodies and police and community safety teams use 628_23 to install or upgrade town centre CCTV, secure buildings with access control and alarms, equip staff with body worn video, or add ANPR at car parks and depots. The independent consultancy lot lets buyers get impartial design advice before procuring equipment. Buyers complete ESPO's Access & Confidentiality Agreement to see documents.

Who Can Apply

Suits CCTV and security systems integrators, access control and alarm installers, body worn video and ANPR suppliers, and independent security consultants. Applications for 628_23 are closed, and with no extension beyond 30 June 2027, its replacement is the next way in.

Buyer Benefits

Buyers can split specialist needs, such as body worn video or ANPR, from general installation work, and get independent consultancy separate from the companies that sell equipment. That separation helps public bodies justify design decisions and avoid being tied to one integrator's proprietary system.
