Framework Description
Fusion21's Material Supply & Associated Services framework provides a national route for goods needed across the property lifecycle, from general building materials to kitchens and adapted living products. It runs from 8 October 2024 to 7 October 2028 and has six lots. Applications for this framework are closed (it is not a DPS), and performance is managed through regular KPI and SLA reporting.
Context & Use Case
Housing associations, councils and other public bodies with in-house repair teams or capital programmes use it to source materials consistently and on agreed terms. The managed services lot suits organisations that want their materials supply managed for them rather than buying item by item. The kitchens and adapted living lots support planned investment and adaptations for older and disabled residents. Specifications can be adjusted to members' needs.
Scope of Services
Lot 1: General Building Materials Lot 2: Electrical Lot 3: Plumbing & Heating Materials Lot 4: Managed Services Lot 5: Kitchens Lot 6: Adapted and Accessible Living
Lots
Lot 1: General Building Materials; Lot 2: Electrical; Lot 3: Plumbing & Heating Materials; Lot 4: Managed Services; Lot 5: Kitchens; Lot 6: Adapted and Accessible Living
Who Can Apply
Suits builders' merchants, electrical and plumbing distributors, kitchen manufacturers, adapted living suppliers and managed materials providers with national reach. Applications for this framework are closed, so suppliers not appointed cannot join until the re-tender, likely around 7 October 2028.
Buyer Benefits
Members get national coverage and consistent pricing, and KPIs and SLAs keep supplier performance visible. They value reliable availability for repairs teams, flexible specifications, and managed services that cut the cost of holding stock. Accessible living products help them meet adaptation needs quickly.
Next Steps
Appointed suppliers should keep KPI performance, pricing files and product ranges current for member competitions. Others should prepare for Fusion21's re-tender ahead of 7 October 2028, choosing the lots that fit their range and gathering evidence of service levels achieved for housing and public sector customers.
