Framework Description
Gloucestershire County Council is procuring a Minor Responsive and Reactive Works Framework for repairs and maintenance jobs up to £15,000 across its corporate estate. Its market engagement notice lists 24 lots, from boilers and plumbing to lifts, heat pumps and backup generators. It is estimated at £9 million and due to run from 5 April 2027 to 1 May 2031.
Context & Use Case
The council will use it for time-sensitive repairs across its corporate buildings, calling on a specialist for each discipline rather than one general contractor, whether for a boiler fault, a fire alarm failure, a blocked drain, tree work or a roof leak. Market engagement drop-in sessions ran in May 2026, and the council has flagged the procurement as suitable for SMEs.
