Framework Description
Gloucestershire County Council is tendering a Statutory Servicing, Reactive and Remedial Works Framework for its corporate estate. It has 22 lots, from lift servicing, lightning protection and water hygiene to boilers, fire alarms, CCTV and kitchen equipment. Estimated at £9 million, it is due to run from 5 April 2027 to 28 March 2031. Tenders are due by 12pm on 21 October 2026.
Context & Use Case
The council will use it to meet its duties as a building owner: servicing lifts, boilers, ventilation, fire systems and electrical installations on schedule, responding to faults and putting right defects found during inspections. District and borough councils, schools, academies and NHS trusts can also use it, and contracts can be awarded with or without competition.

Who Can Apply
Suits building services and compliance contractors with the certifications for their lots, including specialists in a single discipline. The tender is open now, with submissions due by 12pm on 21 October 2026, so this is the chance to bid for a place before the framework starts in April 2027.
Buyer Benefits
Statutory servicing protects the council from compliance failures, so it values contractors who complete servicing on time, keep accurate records and certificates, and turn inspection findings into prompt remedial work. A pre-agreed framework means it can do this without tendering each service separately.
Next Steps
