Framework Description
London and Quadrant Housing Trust's Aftercare, Disrepair and Reactive Repairs DPS (reference Head Office 00001798) buys works on L&Q's self-delivered new build projects. It has 28 lots split by work type, region and value, and runs until 22 February 2029. It was set up under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and is open to new contractors throughout.
Context & Use Case
L&Q and its subsidiary Quadrant Construction Services house more than 250,000 people in over 95,000 homes, mainly in London and the South East. The DPS covers aftercare, disrepair and reactive repairs on the new homes L&Q builds itself. Aftercare lots are split into South, Central and North England, and disrepair lots by region and value band, so work can be matched to contractors of the right size and location.
Scope of Services
Lots 1–3: aftercare (South, Central and North England) Lots 4–19: disrepair by region, in value bands from £500–£5,000 to £50,000+ Lots 20–28: reactive repairs
Lots
Lots 1-3 (Aftercare); Lots 4-19 (Disrepair); Lots 20-28 (Reactive Repairs)
Who Can Apply
Repairs and maintenance contractors, from local SMEs to larger firms, that can handle aftercare defects, disrepair and reactive repairs in the regions covered. As a DPS, it accepts applications at any time before 22 February 2029, and the selection questionnaire is the only first-stage requirement.
Buyer Benefits
Value-banded disrepair lots let L&Q put smaller jobs to smaller contractors and larger ones to firms with the capacity for them, which keeps the pool competitive at every size. Regional lots give it contractors close to its new build sites, and open admission means it can add firms wherever coverage is thin over the life of the DPS.
Next Steps
Create an account on L&Q's In-tend portal, search for the Aftercare, Disrepair and Reactive Repairs DPS, express interest and complete the Standard Selection Questionnaire for the lots and regions you can cover. Have insurance, health and safety, financial and case study evidence ready. L&Q communicates only through the portal.
How Athena Can Help
With 28 lots, the hard part is choosing where to apply and evidencing it well. Athena's framework and DPS registration service picks the regions and value bands that suit your business, completes the SSQ and checks it before submission.
For competitions, our repairs bid writing sets out response times and disrepair methods clearly, and our pricing for housing contracts helps you win without underpricing reactive work. We can also run a Bid Health Check on your first competition responses.
