Framework Description
L&Q's Groundwork, RC Frame, External Works and Piling DPS is run through its construction subsidiary, Quadrant Construction Services, to appoint sub-contractors for L&Q's self-delivered new build housing. Published in August 2021 for ten years, it closes on 18 August 2031. It has two lots by project value: up to £5 million and above £5 million.
Context & Use Case
Quadrant Construction Services runs a mini-competition for each project among admitted sub-contractors in the right value lot. Packages cover the early, high-risk stages of a scheme, from groundworks and piling to reinforced concrete frames and external works, on L&Q's own residential developments. Value-based lots mean contractors compete against firms of a similar size, and admission is checked against residential experience at that scale.
