London Borough of Ealing

Domiciliary Care, Extra Care, Day & Evening Opportunities & Floating Support DPS

Live

Framework Description

The London Borough of Ealing runs this dynamic purchasing system for home care, extra care, day and evening opportunities and floating support. Contracts under it began on 1 April 2025, and it runs for four years with options to extend by up to four more in two-year steps. As a DPS, it is open to new providers throughout its life.

Context & Use Case

Ealing's adult and children's social care teams use it to buy individual care packages and services through the council's e-brokerage platform, for people with dementia, autism, mental health needs, physical and sensory disabilities or learning disabilities. Ealing's annual spend covers roughly £29.5 million on home care, £1.5 million on extra care, £5.5 million on day activities and £770,000 on floating support.

Who Can Apply

CQC-registered home care agencies, extra care providers, day service operators and floating support organisations based in North West London, including Ealing, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Brent, Harrow and Hammersmith and Fulham. It is a DPS, so providers that meet the criteria can apply to join now.

Buyer Benefits

E-brokerage lets the council send a care package to many admitted providers at once and place it fast, which matters on hospital discharge. Continuous admission brings new local providers into the market, increasing capacity in areas that are hard to cover, while common standards help the council monitor quality across a large supplier base.

Next Steps

Read the service specifications Ealing has published and the DPS documents linked from Find a Tender notice 025874-2024. Choose the service categories you can deliver, prepare CQC registration, workforce and recruitment evidence, safeguarding policies and local experience, then apply. Once admitted, set up on the e-brokerage platform and respond quickly to referrals.
