Framework Description
The London Borough of Redbridge runs a dynamic purchasing system for the supply of temporary accommodation, set up in 2020 and extended for a further 33 months to 23 February 2029. The extension is estimated at £96.4 million, with a total value of £306.8 million since the DPS started. It stays open to new provider applications throughout.
Context & Use Case
Redbridge's housing team uses the DPS to secure temporary accommodation for homeless households, from emergency placements to longer stays, while keeping control of quality and cost. Admitted providers compete for requirements, and the council can suspend or remove providers that no longer meet its selection criteria or fall under exclusion grounds.

Who Can Apply
Temporary accommodation providers, landlords and managing agents with properties in or able to serve Redbridge. Existing providers do not need to reapply. New providers can apply at any time up to 23 February 2029 if they meet the selection criteria and no exclusion grounds apply.
