Framework Description
Naval Design Partnering – Successor (NDP-S) is a Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) arrangement under which Frazer-Nash Consultancy was awarded a contract in July 2024 to establish and manage a framework for Royal Navy technical design services. It follows the previous Naval Design Partnering contract, which ended in April 2024, and runs to 23 July 2030 with an option to extend by two years to 23 July 2032.

DE&S uses NDP-S to call off technical design and concept-design studies for future Royal Navy maritime capabilities. Frazer-Nash manages delivery and draws on a supply chain of UK defence engineering firms, SMEs and consultancies, from systems engineering to specialist naval engineering advice. Work ranges from early concept studies that shape future ships to detailed technical design support.
