Framework Description
The National Framework Partnership (NFP) Legal Framework Treasury and Finance appoints law firms to advise public bodies on treasury management, public sector finance and financial regulation, alongside general legal support. It began on 1 November 2022 under contract notice 2022/S 000-010299 and expires on 31 October 2026. Membership was fixed at award; it is not a Dynamic Purchasing System.
Context & Use Case
Public bodies use it for legal advice on treasury management, debt management, financial regulation and compliance, and for general matters such as contract reviews, governance and disputes. Clients can direct-select a firm or run a mini-competition, which is scored 65% quality and 35% cost with a 10% tolerance either way.
