Framework Description
The National Framework Partnership (NFP) Minor Works and Services DPS is a Dynamic Purchasing System for construction-related minor works and services, set up by Hyde Housing Association. It runs from 29 April 2024 to 23 February 2029 and is open to any UK public sector body. Buyers filter appointed suppliers by CPV category, region and value threshold, so they only invite firms that match each requirement. This framework is used by National Framework Partnership and Hyde Housing Association.
Context & Use Case
Councils, schools, health bodies and other public organisations use it for smaller building and maintenance jobs that do not justify a full tender. Because suppliers are filtered by trade, region and contract value, a local SME contractor can be invited to compete for work near its base, alongside other firms that match the same filters.
Scope of Services
General building works and maintenance Electrical installations and repairs Plumbing and HVAC installation and maintenance Roofing, painting and decorating Minor civil engineering Landscaping and grounds maintenance

Who Can Apply
Suits construction contractors and trades of any size, including local SMEs. Suppliers can apply to join at any time while the DPS is open by completing a Standard Suitability Questionnaire on financial and technical capability. Applications are assessed pass or fail, with feedback within 10 working days subject to suitable references.
Buyer Benefits
Buyers get a fast, compliant way to run competitions for minor works with suppliers already checked for capability. Filtering by trade, region and value means competitions reach relevant local firms, and new suppliers joining over time keeps the pool competitive.
Next Steps
Apply now through the NFP framework page. Before submitting the Standard Suitability Questionnaire, choose the CPV categories, regions and value thresholds that match your real capacity, as these decide which competitions you are invited to. Have referees ready, since feedback depends on suitable references. The DPS runs until 23 February 2029.
How Athena Can Help
Joining is only the first step on a DPS: the CPV categories, regions and value bands you choose decide which competitions reach you. Athena's DPS application support helps you pick the right categories, completes the Standard Suitability Questionnaire and compliance-checks it before you submit.
Once you are admitted, our bid management helps you price and write winning responses to each competition, and our bid/no-bid tools help you decide which invitations are worth answering.
