Framework Description
The National Framework Partnership (NFP) Recruitment Framework for Finance is a framework for recruiting finance professionals into public sector roles, and applications for it are closed. It runs until 11 December 2026 and is not a Dynamic Purchasing System. Buyers call off through a four-step e-sign process: a confidentiality agreement, access to the specification and cost model, then the joining agreement.
Context & Use Case
Public bodies use it to fill temporary, contract and permanent finance posts, from accountants to senior finance managers. Once they have signed the joining agreement, buyers can use NFP's contract or run a mini-competition among the appointed agencies. As the expiry date is close, buyers will soon need a new route for finance hiring.

Who Can Apply
Suits recruitment agencies specialising in finance and accountancy placements in the public sector. Applications for this framework are closed and it ends on 11 December 2026, so agencies not already appointed cannot join it and should prepare for its successor.
Buyer Benefits
Finance vacancies affect budget setting and year-end deadlines, so buyers value quick access to specialist agencies. The four-step e-sign call-off lets a public body move from need to signed agreement quickly, with rates already set in the cost model and no need for the client to draft its own terms.
Next Steps
Finance recruitment agencies should check the NFP framework page for a replacement before 11 December 2026 and note any clarification deadlines. Gather placement data, rates, candidate vetting procedures and public sector client references now so you can meet a tender deadline without rushing the quality answers.
How Athena Can Help
For finance recruiters, the replacement tender is the opportunity to plan for. Athena's bid management and pricing support builds responses around your placement record and models a rate card that competes on cost.
Our framework registration planning service times your preparation to the NFP re-procurement and handles the compliance paperwork, and our bid/no-bid guidance helps you weigh this against other finance recruitment tenders, so your bid team's time goes to the opportunities you are most likely to win.
