Recruitment Services for Technology

Live

Framework Description

The National Framework Partnership (NFP) Recruitment Services for Technology framework is a recruitment framework for technology roles in the public sector, and applications for it are closed. It started on 12 December 2022, expires on 11 December 2026 and is not a Dynamic Purchasing System. Until then, public bodies can engage the appointed agencies for permanent, temporary and contract technology hires.

Context & Use Case

Public sector organisations use it to fill digital and IT posts where specialist skills are hard to find. Typical requirements range from a single contract developer to a targeted campaign for a scarce skill set. Instructions can be placed until the 11 December 2026 expiry, after which buyers will need another route for technology recruitment.

Scope of Services

Sourcing and shortlisting technology professionals Permanent, temporary and contract placements Specialist recruitment consultancy Targeted campaigns for niche skills Candidate screening and assessment Onboarding support

Who Can Apply

Suits technology recruitment agencies and specialist consultancies with public sector placement experience. Applications for this framework are closed and it ends on 11 December 2026, so new agencies cannot join and should focus on the replacement procurement.

Buyer Benefits

Digital skills shortages can hold up public sector technology programmes, so buyers value agencies that know the market and can source niche skills quickly. A pre-agreed framework removes procurement delays at the point a role needs filling, and lets buyers compare agencies through a mini-competition when the role is senior or hard to fill.

Next Steps

Technology recruitment agencies should check the NFP framework page now for a successor, as this framework expires on 11 December 2026. Prepare evidence of niche technology placements, time-to-hire and candidate retention, and be ready to respond to a tender at short notice.

How Athena Can Help

Technology recruitment tenders are competitive, so evidence and pricing need to be sharp. Athena's bid team support can turn your niche placements into strong answers and test your margins against likely competitors.

Our framework entry planning keeps your submission on schedule for NFP's replacement framework, and our advice on public sector bids helps you target technology recruitment tenders from other public bodies, with pricing that stays profitable on contract and permanent placements.
