Building Materials & Managed Stores DPS

Live

Framework Description

NEPO's Building Materials & Managed Stores DPS, run in partnership with TPPL, is a dynamic purchasing system for building materials and managed store services. It has six categories, from managed stores to modular build. As a DPS it stays open to new suppliers throughout its term, which ends on 31 January 2027 with no extension listed. It is available to NEPO Member Authorities and current or future Associate Members.

Context & Use Case

Councils and housing providers use the DPS to buy materials for repairs, maintenance and small works, either as ad hoc supply or through a managed or dedicated store run by the supplier. Each purchase is a further competition among suppliers admitted to the relevant category, so buyers can match the requirement to the right type of supplier.

Who Can Apply

Suits builders' merchants, specialist wholesalers, managed store operators and modular build suppliers. Because this is a live DPS, suppliers can apply to join now, but it closes on 31 January 2027, so there is limited time left to be admitted and win work before it ends.

Buyer Benefits

The DPS lets buyers run quick further competitions among suppliers in the right category, from a full managed store to a one-off electrical order. New suppliers can join at any time, which keeps competition fresh and gives local and specialist firms a way in, and TPPL support helps buyers run the call-offs.

Next Steps

Apply now through the NEPO or TPPL route on the DPS page if you want to bid for call-offs before 31 January 2027. Choose your categories carefully and have your selection documents ready to avoid delays in admission. Ask NEPO and TPPL what will replace the DPS after January 2027 so you can prepare for that too.

How Athena Can Help

Time is short on this DPS, so Athena's DPS application service can prepare and compliance-check your submission quickly and help you choose the right categories, whether you run a managed store or supply plumbing, electrical or modular products.

Once admitted, our call-off bid writing helps you win the further competitions with clear pricing and delivery commitments, and our public procurement consultancy can get you ready for whatever NEPO and TPPL put in place after January 2027.
