Framework Description
NEPO411 Furniture is NEPO's framework for buying furniture for public sector settings. It has five lots covering office and home working, educational and library furniture, residential social settings, tough furniture, and ergonomic and associated services. It is a standard framework, not a DPS, and runs to 31 August 2030 with no extension listed.
Context & Use Case
Schools, councils and other public bodies use it to furnish offices and home workers, classrooms and libraries, care homes and supported housing, and settings needing durable furniture. The ergonomic lot supports workplace assessments and adjustments for staff, so buyers can handle both furniture and associated services through one agreement. Tough furniture suits settings with heavy use.

Who Can Apply
Suits furniture manufacturers, dealers and ergonomic specialists. Applications for NEPO411 are closed, so suppliers not appointed cannot join until it is re-tendered, likely around its 31 August 2030 end date. Ergonomic assessment firms fit Lot 5.
Buyer Benefits
Buyers want furniture that suits each setting and lasts: durable for residential and tough environments, compliant for schools, and ergonomic for staff. Specialist lots and pre-agreed terms give them choice and quality without running a new tender each time. Ergonomic services also help employers meet their duties to staff.
Next Steps
Appointed suppliers should prepare for call-offs with clear evidence of product durability, delivery and installation. Others should look for direct council and school tenders, or subcontract to appointed suppliers, and build evidence of sustainability, durability and public sector installations for the re-tender.
