Vehicle Parts, Tyres, Lubricants and Workshop Equipment

Live

Framework Description

NEPO201 Vehicle Parts, Tyres, Lubricants and Workshop Equipment is a ranked, multi-lot, multi-supplier framework managed by NEPO with The Procurement Partnership Ltd (TPPL). It has five lots, from spare parts to managed solutions, and replaces NEPO's earlier separate tyres and vehicle parts arrangements. It started on 1 November 2024 and runs to 31 October 2028, with an option to extend to 31 October 2030.

Context & Use Case

Fleet operators use it to keep cars, commercial, heavy and specialist vehicles on the road. NEPO Member Authorities, Associate Members and TPPL Members can buy items individually by direct award or mini competition, or take a managed, one-stop-shop solution that combines parts, tyres and lubricants, including on-site managed stores at depots.

Scope of Services

Lot 1: Vehicle Spare Parts, including batteries and windscreens Lot 2: Tyres, Replacement and Repair Lot 3: Lubricants and Workshop Consumables, including AdBlue Lot 4: Workshop Equipment Lot 5: Managed Solutions, including on-site managed stores

Lots

Lot 1: Vehicle Spare Parts; Lot 2: Tyres, Replacement and Repair; Lot 3: Lubricants and Workshop Consumables; Lot 4: Workshop Equipment; Lot 5: Managed Solutions

Who Can Apply

Suits parts distributors, tyre companies, lubricant suppliers, workshop equipment suppliers and managed store operators. Applications for this framework are closed, so only suppliers appointed at award can receive call-offs until it is re-procured, likely around October 2028 or, if extended, October 2030.

Buyer Benefits

Fleet managers can buy from the top-ranked supplier quickly or compete larger requirements, and the managed solutions lot lets them outsource stock control entirely. TPPL Members' access widens the buyer base beyond NEPO members. One framework covering parts, tyres, lubricants and equipment also reduces the number of separate contracts a fleet team must manage.

Next Steps

Appointed suppliers should protect their ranking with delivery and pricing performance and be ready for mini competitions. Others should register on NEPO's Open portal (open-uk.org) for notice of the replacement, explore supply through managed solution providers, and build evidence for the re-procurement.

How Athena Can Help

For appointed suppliers, Athena's mini competition support helps you win mini competitions with clear pricing and service answers, especially for managed solutions.

For others, our framework pipeline mapping maps fleet frameworks open now or due to open, and our bid readiness planning prepares you for the NEPO201 re-procurement, from lot choice to a compliant, competitive bid. Competitor scoring shows where your ranking can improve, and we model pricing for managed stores.
