Immersive, Simulation and Related Technologies DPS

Live

Framework Description

The Immersive, Simulation and Related Technologies DPS is a dynamic purchasing system run by NHS London Procurement Partnership for education and training technology. Public sector bodies, including NHS England, use it to buy simulation trainers, immersive learning hardware, software, content and support across eight lots. It runs until 27 March 2028, and suppliers can apply to join while it is open.

Context & Use Case

Training leads in NHS trusts, education bodies and NHS England use it to buy part-task trainers, immersive headsets, simulation software or bespoke learning content. It also covers patient education and research projects that test new training methods, in support of national aims to improve education through technology and public-private partnership. Buyers run competitions within the relevant lot.

Who Can Apply

Suits simulation equipment makers, VR and AR developers, e-learning content studios, research partners and technical support firms. As a DPS, it remains open to applications during its term, so suppliers can apply now and choose the lots that match what they deliver.

Buyer Benefits

Clinical training needs practice without risk to patients, and simulation and immersive tools deliver that at scale. The lot structure lets buyers source hardware, content and support separately or together, and the open DPS brings in newer suppliers as the technology moves on.

Next Steps

Read the DPS page on the LPP website, map your products and services to the eight lots, and prepare evidence such as case studies from NHS or education clients. Apply through LPP. Once admitted, watch for competitions, which may combine hardware, software and content. Apply soon to leave time to win work before 27 March 2028.

How Athena Can Help

Immersive and simulation suppliers often fit more than one lot, and choosing well affects how many competitions you see. Athena's DPS lot selection and application work finds the best fit, writes the narrative responses and produces a compliant application.

After admission, our bid writing for training technology sets out your learning outcomes, case studies and support model as scored evidence, and our pricing advice for public tenders helps you bid hardware, content and support at a profitable level.
