Framework Description
Laundry and Linen Services Total Solutions (NOE.0572) is NHS North of England's (NOE CPC) framework for outsourced laundry and linen, theatre textiles, and support for trusts that run their own laundries. Its seven lots span linen services, managed pack-to-ward solutions, laundry consultancy, equipment maintenance, and the lease or purchase of commercial and industrial laundry equipment. Applications for this framework are closed, and it ends on 1 May 2027.
Context & Use Case
NHS trusts use it either to outsource laundry entirely, through the general patient linen or managed service lots, or to support an in-house laundry with consultancy, equipment and maintenance. Linen and garments can be hired from the supplier or owned by the trust. Buyers can make direct awards for linen and laundry services using a tool that compares suppliers' prices and services.

Who Can Apply
It suits commercial laundries, theatre textile providers, laundry consultants and equipment manufacturers or engineers. Suppliers not already appointed cannot join this framework, as applications are closed; the next chance is the re-tender, likely around its 1 May 2027 end date.
Buyer Benefits
Trusts can compare outsourcing with keeping laundry in-house without leaving the framework, which helps when weighing options. The comparison tool supports quick direct awards with clear price evidence, and a dedicated lot for CE marked barrier textiles gives theatre teams assurance on infection control.
Next Steps
The framework ends on 1 May 2027, so NOE CPC's replacement procurement is the near-term opening for new suppliers. Watch the NOE.0572 page on the NOE CPC site for market engagement, decide which of the seven lots you can deliver, and prepare evidence on turnaround times, quality standards and NHS references. Appointed suppliers should keep their comparison-tool pricing sharp.
How Athena Can Help
With NOE.0572 ending in May 2027, laundry suppliers should be preparing now. Athena's framework bid support helps you pick lots, from patient linen to equipment provision, and builds the case studies, policies and certificates the tender will ask for.
Our bid management service then writes and checks the full submission, and Athena's public sector pricing is useful where direct awards are decided on price and service comparisons, helping you set rates that win on the comparison tool and still cover processing and delivery costs.
