Framework Description
Total Technology Solutions is NHS North of England's (NOE CPC) framework for non-clinical ICT hardware, software and services, bought separately or combined into a single solution. It covers everything from network and storage hardware to cloud, cyber security, IoT and managed services. It has a fixed list of suppliers and ends on 31 December 2026, less than three months away.
Context & Use Case
Public sector organisations use it for non-clinical ICT needs such as network upgrades, new software platforms, cloud hosting or a managed ICT service. Buyers choose between direct purchase, quick quotes and further competition, so a small software renewal and a multi-year managed service can both go through the same route.
Scope of Services
Non-clinical ICT hardware, including network and storage and managed end-user devices Network, storage and operating system software, including Microsoft, iOS and Chrome OS Cloud, cyber security, virtualisation, backup and recovery software Mobile device management, remote access, communications and RFID software SaaS, IaaS and PaaS Consultancy, installation, support, maintenance, connectivity, testing, hosting and disposal Managed services and IoT solutions

Who Can Apply
It suits ICT resellers, software vendors, cloud providers and managed service companies working in non-clinical technology. The supplier list is fixed and the framework ends on 31 December 2026, so suppliers not appointed should focus on whatever replaces it rather than this agreement.
Buyer Benefits
Three buying routes let buyers match effort to value: direct purchase for simple items, quick quotes for modest requirements and further competition for complex projects. Being able to combine hardware, software and services from one supplier cuts integration risk and the number of contracts IT teams manage.
Next Steps
With the framework ending on 31 December 2026, its successor is the realistic route in. Check the Total Technology Solutions page on the NOE CPC site for replacement or extension news, and prepare ICT case studies, security accreditations and pricing. Appointed suppliers should complete live call-offs and gather performance evidence for the re-tender.
How Athena Can Help
Total Technology Solutions closes at the end of 2026, so ICT suppliers should be lining up for its replacement now. Athena's framework identification service identifies NHS and public sector ICT frameworks that are open or due to open and prepares the application in good time, including security and data protection evidence.
When the successor tender appears, our bid management support handles planning, writing and compliance checks, and our public sector bid planning helps you decide which lots to target and price them to win.
