Who Can Apply

It suits leadership development specialists, organisational development consultancies and governance experts with NHS experience and a record of developing boards and senior leaders. Tenders closed on 4 June 2026 and the health board intends to appoint six providers, so suppliers that did not bid cannot join this framework.

Buyer Benefits

Health boards can commission board and executive development quickly from a small, pre-qualified panel instead of tendering each programme. Providers on a framework set up within NHS Wales have already shown they understand healthcare governance, which matters when the audience is a board accountable for patient safety and public money.

Next Steps

Tenders closed on 4 June 2026. Bidders should keep team, pricing and case study details to hand for clarification questions and for mobilisation if appointed. Suppliers that did not bid cannot join this round; build case studies of board and executive programmes in the NHS or similar public bodies, a clear development methodology and an approach to measuring impact for future NHS Wales leadership procurements.
