Framework Description
The North East Combined Authority (NECA) Photography Services Framework gives the authority access to professional photographers across three lots. It runs to 31 August 2028, with options to extend by two further 12-month periods to 31 August 2030. Up to four suppliers are appointed, and the total value is £99,000 excluding VAT across all lots.
Context & Use Case
NECA uses it for press and PR photography at events and announcements, for staff portraits and corporate images, and for regional landscapes and architectural photography for its publications and campaigns. It can commission work quickly from the appointed photographers while keeping competition fair and spending transparent across the three lots.
Scope of Services
Lot 1: Press and PR photography Lot 2: Staff portraits and corporate photography Lot 3: Regional landscapes and architectural imagery
Lots
Lot 1: Press and PR Photography; Lot 2: Staff Portraits and Corporate Photography; Lot 3: Regional Landscapes and Architectural Imagery
Who Can Apply
Suits professional photographers and photography studios with portfolios in press, corporate or landscape and architectural work. Applications for this framework are closed, so photographers not appointed should prepare for the re-tender, likely around August 2028 or, with extensions, 2030.
Buyer Benefits
NECA can commission photography quickly for news, campaigns and publications, with suppliers already appointed and prices agreed. Separate lots mean it can match the right specialist to each job, from fast-turnaround press shots to architectural images of the region, within a modest budget.
Next Steps
Appointed photographers should be ready to respond quickly to commissions. Others should plan for the re-tender ahead of 31 August 2028, or 2030 if extended, and build a public sector portfolio in their chosen lot. Monitor Find a Tender for the notice.
