Framework Description
The Technology Enabled Lives (TEL) Framework is a Northern Housing Consortium national agreement for technology enabled care (TEC). In a single lot, it covers the supply, installation and maintenance of TEC equipment, monitoring and alarm receiving, and related consultancy and transformation services. Members of the Consortium use it through NHC's procurement team; no new suppliers can be added during its term.
Context & Use Case
Councils, housing associations and care commissioners use it to provide community alarms, telecare and digital assistive technology that help people live independently at home. Alongside new equipment, buyers can take consultancy and transformation services when they need advice and change support, as well as ongoing maintenance of the systems already in place.
