Framework Description
Nottinghamshire County Council's Rough Sleeping Prevention & Resettlement Framework buys support for people sleeping rough or at risk of homelessness. It has three lots: supported accommodation (support only), outreach and coordination, and integrated specialist support. Published as Find a Tender notice 062081-2025, it covers local authorities across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Services began in July 2026 and the framework ends on 30 June 2030.
Context & Use Case
Local authorities in both counties can call on the framework to meet their homelessness duties, from street outreach and service coordination to support in accommodation and specialist help for people with mental health, substance use or health needs. Because successor authorities are included, the framework will continue to be usable after local government reorganisation in the two counties.
Scope of Services
Lot 1: Supported Accommodation (Support Only) Lot 2: Outreach & Coordination Lot 3: Integrated Specialist Support Housing search and tenancy support Crisis intervention and emergency support
Lots
Lot 1 - Supported Accommodation (Support Only); Lot 2 - Outreach & Coordination; Lot 3 - Integrated Specialist Support
Who Can Apply
Homelessness charities and housing support providers active in Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire, including specialists in mental health and substance use. Providers could bid for any mix of lots. Appointments were made before services began, so applications for the framework are closed until it is re-tendered.
Buyer Benefits
Councils get providers already assessed for experience and quality across three distinct types of support, so they can commission quickly when need rises. A shared framework across two counties cuts duplicated procurement and gives people more consistent support if they move between council areas.
Next Steps
Appointed providers should build links with each participating council, as call-offs may come from authorities across both counties. Providers outside it should expect a re-tender as 30 June 2030 approaches and study the original notice to see how lots and evaluation were set up. Reorganisation may change who the buyers are, so follow those changes closely.
