Gift Cards & Vouchers

Live

Framework Description

NWUPC's Gift Cards & Vouchers framework (OFF3019 NW) gives member institutions access to gift cards and vouchers for rewards, incentives and recognition. It is a fixed-term framework, not a DPS, closed to new applications and running until 30 November 2026 with no extension. With only weeks of the term left, a successor procurement is likely to be imminent. This framework is used by NWUPC, APUC and SUPC.

Context & Use Case

Universities use gift cards and vouchers to thank research participants, reward students and staff, run recognition schemes and provide incentives for surveys and events. They need a range of retailer cards, physical and digital delivery, and tracking and reporting so that spend is controlled and auditable, without tendering each scheme separately.

Scope of Services

Gift cards from a range of retailers and service providers Customisable vouchers for events and recognition schemes Distribution of cards and vouchers to staff or students Physical and digital delivery Tracking and reporting on use

Who Can Apply

It suits gift card and voucher providers and reward platform operators serving the public sector or education. Applications for this framework are closed and it ends on 30 November 2026, so suppliers that want a place should prepare for the successor tender now.

Buyer Benefits

Research teams and HR departments want a quick, auditable way to issue rewards, without managing many retailer accounts. The framework gives them checked providers, digital delivery and reporting that satisfies finance and audit teams, plus a wide choice of cards for recipients.

Next Steps

Watch NWUPC's tender notices closely, as the framework ends on 30 November 2026 and a successor is likely to be tendered around then. Prepare evidence of retailer range, digital delivery and reporting, security and fraud controls, and education or public sector clients, such as research participant payment schemes.
