Framework Description

NY Highways Works, Services, Supply of Goods & Support Services is a multi-provider arrangement run by NY Highways, which works in partnership with North Yorkshire Council. The contract notice describes it as a DPS (reference NYHighways DPS Construction Line), with four lots and an estimated total value of £300 million. Applications go through Constructionline. Materials and surveys are bought through their own lots.

Who Can Apply

Suits civils contractors, surfacing and lining firms, highways electrical contractors, plant hire and traffic management companies, materials suppliers and survey firms, including SMEs. As the notice describes a DPS, suppliers can usually apply while it is live; check the Constructionline page to confirm it is accepting applications.

Buyer Benefits

NY Highways gets a broad, local supply chain under one arrangement, covering everything from small works to materials. Lots for works, services, materials and surveys make it easy to find the right supplier, and competition at each award helps keep prices keen.

Next Steps

Check the NY Highways page on Constructionline and the Find a Tender notice to confirm the application route and lot requirements. Decide which of the four lots fit your business, then submit your application. Civils and surfacing packages are generally under £250,000 each, which suits regional SMEs. The arrangement runs to 2 November 2028.
