ICT Solutions Framework

Live

Framework Description

Pagabo's ICT Solutions Framework gives UK public sector bodies a pre-vetted route to technology suppliers, supporting a project from the initial purchase through to ongoing service delivery. Buyers use it to source ICT services at competitive rates without running their own tender. It is a traditional framework rather than a DPS, so the supplier list is fixed, and it is live until 29 February 2028.

Context & Use Case

Local authorities, schools and academies, healthcare organisations and central government bodies use the framework when they need ICT services but lack the time or capacity for a full procurement. Because suppliers support the whole lifecycle, buyers can use the same route for the initial purchase, the implementation and the support arrangement that follows.

Who Can Apply

Suits IT resellers, managed service providers, software developers, telecoms providers and ICT consultancies selling to public bodies. Suppliers are already appointed, so the framework cannot be joined now; the next chance is likely to be Pagabo's re-procurement ahead of February 2028.

Buyer Benefits

Buyers can source ICT from suppliers already checked for capability and pricing, without writing a full specification and tender. That helps schools and smaller bodies without IT procurement specialists, and having one route for both purchase and support makes contract management simpler.

Next Steps

Appointed suppliers should promote their framework status to schools, councils and health bodies looking for a ready-made route. Others should keep an eye on Pagabo's upcoming frameworks page during 2027 for the replacement, and meanwhile build public sector case studies, security certifications such as Cyber Essentials Plus or ISO 27001, and clear service level data.

How Athena Can Help

ICT frameworks are crowded, so the re-procurement will reward suppliers who prepare early. Athena can include it in a 6 to 12 month plan of technology frameworks and handle the application through our framework registration programme.

Our IT bid writing team turns technical capability into answers that score, with service levels and security evidence set out clearly, and our pricing for public sector bids keeps rates competitive without eroding margin on long support contracts.
