Procurement for Housing

Assisted Living Solutions, Kitchens and Appliances

Live

Framework Description

Procurement for Housing's Assisted Living Solutions, Kitchens and Appliances framework gives social housing landlords and local authorities a route to vetted suppliers of domestic and commercial appliances, catering equipment and assisted living products. It covers planned and reactive needs, including installation, maintenance and recycling. The framework has four lots and runs until 22 January 2027, so its replacement is not far off.

Context & Use Case

Landlords use it for domestic appliances in their homes, commercial laundry and catering equipment for communal settings, and assisted living equipment that helps residents stay independent. Both one-off reactive replacements and planned programmes can go through it, and suppliers handle delivery, installation and removal of old equipment, which spares housing teams from organising separate trades.

Who Can Apply

Suits appliance manufacturers and distributors, commercial laundry and catering equipment suppliers, and assisted living specialists. Applications for this framework are closed, so suppliers not on it cannot join; with the end date in January 2027, PfH's re-tender is the next chance.

Buyer Benefits

Members can order from suppliers already vetted on price and service, and get installation, maintenance and recycling in one package. That saves housing teams time on reactive replacements, gets broken appliances replaced quickly for tenants, and supports planned programmes with consistent pricing across their stock.

Next Steps

Appointed suppliers should prepare for the re-tender now, using performance data from this framework. Others should watch PfH's framework pages and tender notices over the coming months for the replacement, and prepare evidence of national delivery, installation and recycling arrangements, WEEE compliance and housing sector references.

How Athena Can Help

With this framework ending in January 2027, its replacement is the real opportunity. Athena can map out your approach now with planning for the re-tender, then prepare and compliance-check the application through our framework tender support.

Our product supply bid writing sets out delivery, installation and recycling clearly, and Athena's competitor analysis tests how your pricing and service are likely to score against other appliance suppliers, so you know where to strengthen your offer before submission.
