Framework Description
The South Ayrshire Local Employability Partnership (SALEP) Trusted Partner Flexible Framework Agreement is run by South Ayrshire Council to buy all-age employability and training support. It is a four-year flexible framework under the Light Touch Regime, ending on 31 March 2027, and reopens periodically so new training providers and third sector organisations can join. Who Can Apply
Suits training providers, third sector organisations and employment support specialists with a record of sustained job outcomes for people of different ages. New entrants join at reopenings, but the framework ends on 31 March 2027, so check the framework page for any remaining window or for its successor.
Buyer Benefits
A trusted partner model lets SALEP add specialist delivery quickly, without a full tender for each programme, and keep a broad mix of providers, from small community organisations to larger trainers. Partners are judged on progression and sustainable employment, so evidence of real outcomes counts for more than activity numbers.
Next Steps
Read notice 038642-2024 to see what the reopening asked for. With the framework ending on 31 March 2027, monitor South Ayrshire Council's notices for a replacement and prepare outcome data, participant case studies and safeguarding policies now. Partners already appointed should focus on delivery results, which will strengthen their case in the next round.
How Athena Can Help
Employability frameworks are won on evidence: job starts, sustained outcomes and how you support people furthest from work. Athena's support for public sector bids helps you decide whether SALEP's next round is worth pursuing and how to position against other partners.
We can write and assemble the submission through our framework application specialists, including social value and case studies, while our bid management experts run a Bid Health Check so the final response is compliant and scores well.
