St Basils DPS
Framework Description
The St Basils DPS is a Dynamic Purchasing System through which St Basils, the Birmingham charity that helps young people aged 16 to 25 find and keep a home, buys building maintenance and compliance services. It covers responsive repairs, voids, planned refurbishment, gas servicing, electrical testing, asbestos, water hygiene and fire safety across around 640 homes in the West Midlands. Its prior information notice planned a term from April 2025 to the end of October 2028.

St Basils maintains accommodation for young people, so it needs contractors who fix repairs quickly, turn empty rooms and flats around between residents, deliver planned upgrades and keep gas, electrical, asbestos, water and fire safety compliance up to date. Through the DPS, it competes each requirement among admitted contractors as needs arise.
