Framework Description
Suffolk County Council is setting up a Community Support Framework for adults: a pre-qualified route for buying community-based support that helps adults maintain their wellbeing and independence and take part in community life. The framework is at the pre-award stage, and the procurement record is on Find a Tender (ocds-h6vhtk-06956f).
Context & Use Case
Suffolk's adult services will use it to arrange community-based support for adults, helping people stay well and independent at home and involved in their communities. A framework of pre-qualified providers gives commissioners a flexible route to person-centred support without tendering each package, and lets them apply consistent quality standards across providers.

Who Can Apply
Suits community support and social care providers working with adults in Suffolk, with person-centred practice and evidence of wellbeing and independence outcomes. The framework is not yet awarded, so providers should prepare to bid when the tender opens.
Buyer Benefits
Community support can delay or prevent the need for more intensive care, so the Council values providers who help people stay independent. A framework gives commissioners quick access to vetted providers across the county, consistent quality standards and less time spent arranging each package.
Next Steps
Check the Find a Tender record for the tender timetable and documents. Prepare evidence of outcomes for adults you support, safeguarding policies, CQC registration where your service requires it, staff training records and your coverage across Suffolk, so you can respond quickly once the framework opens.
How Athena Can Help
Community support tenders are won by providers who can show real outcomes for people. Athena can plan your Suffolk bid now: our bid management and writing service builds win themes and writes quality answers, and a Bid Health Check finds gaps before submission.
Our bid/no-bid support for providers helps you judge fit and pricing, and our framework registration planning lines up other adult social care frameworks across the region, so Suffolk is one of several routes.
