IT Related Accessories and Parts (ITRAP) 2024

Live

Framework Description

IT Related Accessories and Parts (ITRAP) 2024 is SUPC's agreement for the peripherals, spare parts and consumables that sit around core IT hardware: keyboards, mice, docks, cables, replacement components and ancillary supplies. It started on 1 September 2024 and runs until 31 August 2027, with no extension option, and lists eight approved suppliers. This framework is used by SUPC and APUC.

Context & Use Case

University IT departments need a steady flow of low-value, high-volume items alongside their hardware refresh programmes, from docking stations for new laptops to replacement parts for repairs. Members order from the approved suppliers by direct call-off, avoiding a competition for every small purchase, and spend is spread across many departments.

Scope of Services

Who Can Apply

Suits IT accessory distributors and resellers with broad catalogues, reliable delivery and account managers who know education buyers. With eight suppliers appointed and applications closed, others must wait for the re-tender, likely around August 2027.

Buyer Benefits

IT teams want to order quickly from a broad catalogue at prices already agreed, without raising a competition for a box of cables. The framework gives them that, along with delivery and account management standards, and lets them keep accessory spend separate from larger hardware agreements.

Next Steps

Approved suppliers should keep catalogue pricing sharp and delivery metrics strong, since direct call-off favours whoever members find easiest to buy from. Prospective suppliers should watch SUPC's framework page ahead of 31 August 2027 and prepare catalogue, pricing and delivery evidence.

How Athena Can Help

Catalogue frameworks like ITRAP are usually won on a pricing schedule plus a few service answers, so both have to be right. Athena's bid and pricing support models your basket against likely competitors and writes delivery and account management responses to the scoring criteria.

Through our framework registrations work we can line up the re-tender alongside other IT reseller frameworks, and our public sector bid advice covers compliance under the Procurement Act 2023.
